Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Morning:
Depart from Nairobi early in the morning (around 7:00 am).
Drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve (about 5-6 hours by road).
Afternoon:
Arrive at your camp or lodge for check-in and lunch.
After lunch, head out for your first game drive in the Maasai Mara in the late afternoon (usually around 3:30 PM).
Evening:
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy the evening at the camp, with an optional night game drive depending on the camp.

Masai Mara Game Drives

Early Morning:
Start with an early morning game drive (6:00-9:00 AM) to catch the wildlife in their most active hours.
The Mara is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), and you’ll likely encounter these iconic animals along with giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
Mid-Morning:
Return to the lodge for breakfast and a short rest.
Afternoon:
After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive till evening exploring the vast plains of Masai Mara.
In the evening, return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Afternoon: Head out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and a variety of bird species. You might also spot leopards, giraffes, and buffaloes.
