1-Day Incredible Ngorongoro Crater Safari from Arusha

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha/Moshi. Your safari guide will meet you at 6 AM in Arusha, and you'll begin the drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you’ll stop at the crater viewpoint before descending into the crater for an exciting game drive.

Often referred to as the "eighth natural wonder of the world," the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. Formed over 2 million years ago when the Ngorongoro volcano erupted and collapsed, the crater spans more than 19 kilometers across and is home to a variety of ecosystems, including acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and expansive grasslands.

With over 30,000 animals living in the crater, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, the rare black rhinoceros, and an abundance of birdlife and predatory cats, the area offers an exceptional wildlife viewing experience. After your game drive, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure.
