Day 2

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast. Today, you'll journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2:30 hour drive on paved roads. Named after the Tarangire River, this park is essential for wildlife during the dry season, attracting a variety of species. Watch for elephants gathering by the river and look out for giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and the predators that follow, including lions and leopards. The park is also renowned for its abundant bird species and ancient baobab trees. After game drive, you will be drive to Karatu for your Overnight.

After breakfast, you'll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to view the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing through the conservation area, you’ll enter the southern Serengeti. The Serengeti is known for its endless grasslands and high wildlife concentration. Be on the lookout for impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

During this season, the migration is generally concentrated in the northern Serengeti.

Enjoy a game drive in the crater, known for its high density of animals, including rhinos, elephants, lions and flamingos. After the crater tour, you’ll continue to Karatu for an evening of relaxation.
