Today, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and taken to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls. This tour offers a refreshing escape from Moshi’s bustling town life, with a scenic walk that immerses you in Tanzania’s natural beauty while gently preparing you for your upcoming safari.

Your adventure begins in the lush coffee plantations of the Chagga people, where local villagers will warmly guide you through the fascinating steps of coffee cultivation. You’ll even get to try your hand at preparing the beans and brewing your own cup of coffee, a truly hands-on experience!

The hike to the base of Materuni Waterfall offers stunning views and a bit of a challenge, so we recommend wearing hiking boots. Perfect for those short on time, this day trip offers a delightful taste of the nature and beauty that makes Tanzania so special.

Day 2

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to the scenic Arusha National Park.

This park is a true gem, rich in diverse flora and fauna. Your day adventure includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, where you’ll have the chance to see buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, baboons, and a wide variety of bird species throughout the year. At the Momella Gate, a friendly ranger will join you for a walking safari—a rare opportunity to observe wildlife up close, which is truly one of the highlights of Tanzania.

We’ll enjoy lunch at a picturesque picnic spot, and in the afternoon, continue exploring the park by safari vehicle. After ample time to take in the incredible wildlife, we’ll bring you back to your accommodation, ensuring you have had a memorable day in Arusha National Park.

Today, we’ll set off early for the stunning Tarangire National Park. By noon, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature, then begin an exciting game drive through this “Elephant Playground,” where large herds of elephants roam. Tarangire is teeming with wildlife, including buffalo, lions, wildebeest, zebras, and unique sightings like the gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. Lake Burungi’s shores attract beautiful birdlife, such as giant kingfishers and the white-bellied go-away bird. After a rewarding day, we’ll relax at our campsite with a hearty meal and a restful evening.

After a delicious breakfast at the campsite, we’ll pack a picnic lunch and set off for the beautiful Lake Manyara. Known for its famous tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara offers much more to explore. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, hippos, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, and many other incredible animals. The vibrant pink flamingos, along with over 400 bird species in the area, add a splash of color to the scenery. After an exciting day of wildlife encounters, we’ll return to the campsite to unwind and enjoy a tasty dinner.
