Transfer from Kampala to Murchison falls with a stop over at Ziwa rhino sanctuary

An early rise, as we make our way to Murchison. Your trip starts at 08:00am with departure from Kampala. Please be ready at the reception of the Hotel at 07:30am. Travelling through the little villages and small towns. A stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before proceeding to the park.

Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Check in and overnight at the lodge.

Morning Game Drive Safari and Afternoon Boat safari

Start your day with a northern section game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest park, home to over 600 bird species and 76 mammal species, including the Big Four. As you explore prime game-viewing areas, you'll encounter elephants, buffalos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, and leopards, along with a variety of birds. After a delicious lunch, enjoy a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls, where you’ll cruise past hippos, crocodiles, and buffalo, with opportunities for stunning photos.

Then, hike to the top of the falls—though strenuous, it’s a rewarding experience with unforgettable views. Return to your lodge to relax and reflect on an action-packed day.

Game Drive –Transfer to Kampala

Today wake up early for breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through Uganda's largest and oldest National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is home to mammals, bird species and the big 4, which are widely spread all over the Savannah grasslands, grazing or hunting for prey. Exit the park and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch.
