Mabamba Shoebill and Guided walk in Lake Mburo
We’ll begin at 7 a.m. with an exciting shoebill tour at Mabamba Swamp, where you are likely to spot the rare and iconic shoebill along with other unique bird species. After 3-4 hours in the swamp, we’ll drive toward Lake Mburo National Park, pausing at the equator for a lunch break and photo opportunities.
Upon arrival at Lake Mburo, enjoy an afternoon guided walk through the park, taking in its rich wildlife and scenic landscapes.

Morning game drive and drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Start your morning with an exhilarating game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, where you are likely to see zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After a relaxed lunch, we’ll depart for Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda's stunning "place of many little birds." Lake Bunyonyi and drive to Bwindi
Early in the morning we will enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, navigating its picturesque islands while learning about the local culture and community. This tranquil journey offers beautiful views and insights into the area's unique heritage.
After a relaxing lunch at the lodge, we’ll set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the majestic mountain gorillas, preparing for one of the most unforgettable experiences of the safari.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Gorilla tracking. This day is spent in the rainforest. After a briefing, it will then be time to go into the forest to a gorilla family. It usually takes a few hours to find the family and then an hour to be with them, before we return to camp.
If you are back a little earlier and feel like doing something more, there are opportunities to do a guided walk in the village, learn about coffee, bananas, meet a medicine man and maybe Batwa (pygmies). Otherwise, it's fine to rest.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
We will drive from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic 4-5 hour drive that takes you from lush rainforests to open savannas and woodlands. Along the way, we'll pause for a packed lunch. Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth, we will dive straight into an afternoon game drive, with chances to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and a variety of antelope species.
After the excitement of the game drive, we’ll settle into our lodge for a restful evening in this stunning wilderness setting.

We will journey from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale National Park, a scenic 2-3 hour drive. After checking into our lodge and enjoying lunch, we'll proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing ahead of our chimpanzee tracking experience. Led by expert rangers, we’ll trek through Kibale’s vibrant rainforest, encountering diverse wildlife and learning about the rich ecosystem. Once we locate the chimpanzees, you’ll have the rare chance to observe them in their natural habitat, watching their social interactions and playful antics.
After this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner.

Drive to Hoima
Enjoy a relaxing morning at the lodge before we drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Due to the long journey, we'll stop for an overnight stay in Hoima, about 4-5 hours away.
We will check into our accommodation in Hoima for dinner and prepare for the adventures that await the following day.

We will set off from Hoima to Murchison Falls National Park, a journey lasting approximately 3-5 hours. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

Game drive and Boat cruise on the Nile River
We will start with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, when animals are most active and the cool temperatures increase your chances of seeing predators like lions and leopards, along with elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. The soft morning light also enhances photography opportunities.
After the game drive, we'll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River, offering a fantastic view of Murchison Falls from below and a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species along the riverbanks.
This scenic cruise is a perfect conclusion to a day of wildlife adventures.

Top of the falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Before exiting Murchison Falls National Park, we'll drive to the top of the falls to witness the Nile River plunging through a narrow gorge, offering spectacular views. Afterward, we'll drive out of the park and stop for lunch in Masindi town.
Following lunch, you have the option to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk with rhinos and learn about the sanctuary's conservation efforts.
This experience provides an opportunity to see rhinos up close and understand the importance of wildlife conservation.
Finally, we will drive to Entebbe, arriving in the early evening to relax and reflect on the past days' adventures.

Kampala city tour and Ndere Cultural Centre
On the final day of our safari, we will explore Kampala, Uganda's vibrant capital. The tour includes visits to the Gaddafi Mosque for panoramic city views, the Namugongo Shrine honoring the Uganda Martyrs, and the Uganda Museum showcasing cultural and historical heritage.
After lunch, we'll visit the Ndere Cultural Centre to experience Uganda’s diverse cultures through traditional music, dance, and storytelling, accompanied by an African buffet.
We will then drive back to Entebbe, concluding our 14-day safari with lasting memories of Uganda's natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural richness.
