You’ll also encounter Maasai herders who coexist harmoniously with the wildlife in this area. Break for a picnic lunch amidst the savannah, then continue your exploration with an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for cheetahs and leopards, which can often be seen sunbathing or hunting in the long grasses. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on a day filled with unforgettable safari experiences.

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic journey toward Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive will take you through stunning landscapes, including the rolling hills of Naivasha, famous for its serene ambiance and rich birdlife. Upon arrival, check into your lakeside Hotel and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a haven for birdwatchers. You’ll encounter hippos basking in the sun, pelicans gliding across the water and a variety of waterfowl. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a guided walk around Crescent Island, home to giraffes, zebras, and antelope, all roaming freely. After breakfast, check out and head to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous parks, particularly known for its vibrant flocks of flamingos that color the shores of the lake. On your game drive through the park, you’ll spot a rich variety of wildlife, including rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, and, if you're lucky, the elusive leopard or lion. As you explore the park, enjoy spectacular views of the lake surrounded by dense woodlands and acacia trees. After a delicious lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to relax at your lodge before setting off again for another game drive, looking for the park's black and white rhinos, as well as more bird species. Return to your lodge for a restful evening and dinner by the lake.

Today is a full day of exploration in the iconic Maasai Mara. After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, as the park is often at its most active at dawn. After a picnic lunch in the wild, continue your exploration with an afternoon game drive.
