Pickup from your Nairobi hotel at 0700 Hrs, drive for 3-4 hours to Solio Game Reserve for lunch and afternoon game drives. Solio is a private wildlife sanctuary with a large population of black rhinos. This is the best place in the world to watch rhinos and leopards. There are also many other animals including zebra, lion, cheetah, hyena, as well as two northern species, the reticulated giraffe and the beisa oryx. The area is also a bird watcher’s paradise with over 100 species of birds recorded so far.

Day 2
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for a whole day of game drives. This is the perfect place to watch wildlife in a less crowded environment against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kenya. The conservancy hosts the largest population of black rhino in Kenya. There is also elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard, zebra, hartebeest and many others. In the afternoon we will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya.

Aberdare
Aberdare
Leave at 1000 for transfer to the Aberdares mountain range for lunch. We’ll stay at the Ark Lodge, a unique “tree hotel” that offers an unrivalled wildlife viewing experience. You will watch animals come to drink at a floodlit watering hole and salt lick located below the lodge.
