Day 1

At 5:00 am, you'll have a morning safari departure from Cape Town.
At 7:00 am, you'll have hot beverages and rusks.
Game drive with pre-packed continental breakfast.
You'll have leisure time and depart at noon.

You'll depart for Hermanus. Whale Capital of the world both terrestrially and from the whaleboat.
On your way, you'll pass through vineyards and stop at Viljoensdrif wine estate on the banks of the Breede Valley to taste Cape Wines. The towering mountains around us are snow-capped during our winter months.
A spectacular route indeed!

Your accommodation is on the beach, where you can hear the whales jump.
Take the well-designated Cliff Path Walk from your hotel. Besides seeing whales, enjoy the artwork on your way.

The safe town center is a 4-minute walk from your hotel and offers restaurants, boutique shops, a whale museum, and a guided tour of an abalone farm.

Day 2

After the 2-hour recommended whale boat cruise, you'll head along the Cape South Coast for a visit to Africa’s largest and endangered African Penguin Colony.

Lunch in Pringle Bay at the best fish 'n chip shop in South Africa.

You'll hug the cliffs of the scenic Clarence Drive, voted as one of the world's most spectacular coastal passes.

Cheetah Outreach program, where you have the opportunity to interact with these predators. The sanctuary is also home to other endangered African animals.

The final visit is to historical Stellenbosch in the heart of the Cape Winelands. You'll do a tour admiring its 16C Cape Dutch period buildings and wine estates.

You'll arrive in Cape Town at 6:30 pm.

Please note that whale season is from June to December. But even out of season, you will see plenty of other marine life. Like dolphins, seals, penguins, sharks, otters, and sea turtles. Highly recommended any time of year.
