Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, our safari guide will meet us at our lodging. After that, we headed to Lake Manyara National Park. The name of this very small but varied park comes from a shallow salt lake that occupies a sizable portion of its surface. With 500 different bird species in the park, this soda lake, which floods and dries with the seasons, is home to thousands of flamingos. We will witness buffalo, elephants, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, wildebeest, and, if we're lucky, lions relaxing in the trees as we explore the park. Along with vast grassy plains, the park is renowned for its varied landscapes, which include woodlands teeming with primates and cliffs covered with baobabs.
