You'll take the Nairobi-Mombasa road to the Amboseli National Park. A typical African savannah landscape, filled with colorful Maasai ranchers grazing their cattle and local homesteads, is traversed during the morning drive. You'll get to the park in time for lunch and then go on to the planned afternoon wildlife-viewing drive.
You can see the numerous elephant herds up close in the park, which is why it's the greatest area in Africa to see them. Numerous other African creatures, including the Cape buffalos, impalas, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Maasai giraffes, zebras, and blue wildebeests, can be found in the park. There are many species of birds, both big and small. If the weather permits, Amboseli National Park is an ideal location for photography since it provides a stunning view of the picturesque snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the world's highest free-standing peak and the tallest mountain in Africa.
