Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning after breakfast your driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. You’ll learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano – quite apart from the altitude – will leave you gasping for air. Your drive down a steep trail carries you onto the crater floor where a unique wildlife offering is added to the sheer beauty of the experience. You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos.

Ndutu

Although the exact dates can be unpredictable, in normal years, the great migration passes through Ndutu during January and February. If you're lucky, expect to see vast herds of wildebeest and zebra filling the plains to the horizon. This is also when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest give birth, so expect to see lots of young calves, as well as predators looking for an easy meal. In the woodlands that surround the plains watch for lions up in the trees.

Arusha

On this day you will have an opportunity to visit one of the Maasai village near Ngorongoro Crater along your drive back to Arusha. Maasai have such a unique and amazing culture and its really cool to visit them and learn about their way of life. On arrival you will be greeted with warm welcome and big smile.
