Your safari adventure begins today! We’ll pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 1.5-hour drive, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of nature, landscapes, and local communities. Our destination is Tarangire, where we’ll spend the day on a game drive in search of the park's famous elephants, iconic baobab trees, and elusive tree-climbing African pythons. By evening, we’ll arrive at Fig tree lodge & camps, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy safari tent. Equipped with two single beds and a small outdoor seating area, this is your chance to unwind and embrace the adventure. And before settling in, feel free to take a refreshing dip in the pool!

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we’ll start our day early with breakfast before driving into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. The crater supports an estimated 30,000 large mammals, offering one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. This conservation area is home to the Big Five—including the rare African black rhino—as well as hyenas, zebras, elephants, and more. After our game drive, we’ll head back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
