Evening Flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park

Your African adventure begins with a 3:00 PM flight from Zanzibar to the wild beauty of Nyerere National Park. Arriving around 4:00 PM, you will meet your guide and start a sunset safari that transitions into an exciting night game drive.

You will also enjoy a peaceful boat safari along the Rufiji River, spotting crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birdlife. As the sun sets, you will pause for a refreshing sundowner in a stunning natural setting.

The adventure continues into the night, where you may encounter nocturnal wildlife such as lions and hyenas. This unique experience lasts until around 11:00 PM.

Afterwards, you will enjoy dinner in the park before heading to Selous Mapumziko Lodge for your overnight stay.

You'll embark on an exciting game drive into the heart of Nyerere National Park, where you'll encounter an array of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for majestic lions, colossal elephants, graceful giraffes, and playful zebras as they roam freely across the vast savanna. You'll enjoy a leisurely lunch amidst the stunning park scenery before continuing your safari adventure. As the afternoon sun begins to cast long shadows, you'll head back to the lodge for a boat safari like no other. You'll be immersed in the largest river, the Rufiji. You'll learn about their fascinating way of animal life, such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, monitor lizards, fishing, and different species of birds. After the sun sets, you'll go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Flight Back To Zanzibar

You will wake up early to enjoy your final moments in the African bush, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. After a hearty breakfast, you will prepare for your journey back to Zanzibar.
Your scheduled flight is expected to depart at approximately 6:45 AM. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will be waiting to warmly welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.
