Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide. After a short briefing about what to expect on the safari, you will depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at your lodge/camp after check-in. In the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon game drive, the two lasts for 2 hours offering you a chance to get a close encounter with wildlife and nature in the park. You will also enjoy scenic views of the snow-capped snow of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll head back to the lodge for dinner and later go on a night game drive for viewing of hippos as they graze and nocturnal game. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

You'll wake up early and head to the Amboseli plains for an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Later in the afternoon, you'll again have a guided game drive through the savannah plains of the park. You will spot herds of wildlife including red elephants, lions, giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, waterbucks, impalas, and different bird species including African fin foot, black-faced sandgrouse, Fischer’s starling, golden pipit, golden-breasted starling, lesser kestrel, Martial eagle, Northern brown bull and Pangani long claw among others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

You will wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive where you will enjoy excellent sightings of predators such as lions, African wild dogs, and many other early risers. You'll have a full breakfast, then proceed on an en-route game drive on your way to Tsavo East National Park where you will check in your lodge and proceed with your guided game drive till evening. You will go back to your lodge for relaxation and have your dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Tsavo East National Park to Diani Beach

You will wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive where you will enjoy excellent sightings of predators such as lions, African wild dogs, and many other early risers. You'll have a full breakfast. Then, you'll proceed on an en-route game drive on your way to Voi train station where you will board a train to Diani.

After having your breakfast, you will visit Shimba Hills National Park —the second largest coastal forest in East Africa situated only 45 minutes from Diani Beach. In the park, you will be able to see elephants, sable antelopes, genet, leopards, buffaloes, bush pigs, and waterbucks among others. Scuba diving is the best way to explore the richness and diversity of marine life and is a fun activity to do. While swimming in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean you will encounter whale sharks, turtles, and Manta Rays among others. After a long day, you will head back to your hotel for refreshment and relaxation. In the evening, you will have dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

You will spend a full day relaxing at Diani Beach. You may choose to spend the day relaxing at the resort’s swimming pool or read a book. Alternatively, you may head out to the beach. You can take a swim in the clear waters, participate in scuba diving, snorkeling, or sunset dhow cruise. You can never get more of Diani. It is a place where you can relax, chill, rewind, and forget the daily hassles. On this day, you may decide to enjoy beach walks as you observe activities on the blue waters, swim to cool yourself down, and go shopping. Then, you'll return to your hotel for drinks, entertainment, and an overnight stay.

Day 7

You will be picked up by our driver-guide and drive to Ukunda Airstrip and board your flight to Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will proceed with your Journey back home.
