Victoria Falls - 'scenes so lovely they must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight' '
On arrival at Victoria Falls (Flight Included), you are met and transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon you are collected for a sunset dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Guests are welcomed on board with a refresher towel and a chilled flute of sparkling wine before they settle down on the top floor of the vessel for a sunset cruise before dinner. Snacks and drinks are served while the sun sinks below the shimmering surface of the Zambezi. After sunset dinner is served on the vessel. The rich aroma of locally sourced, fresh ingredients wafts around diners as the dishes are plated. Time seems to stand still as the boat gently glides along to the sound of water lapping up against her sides. Far removed from the glare of city lights and noise, the moon and stars shine brightly in the sky and an atmosphere of mystery and romance envelopes the evening’s experience. The meal and selected drinks on board are included. After the cruise, you are transferred back to your hotel.

This morning you are collected for a tour of Victoria Falls. No photograph can begin to depict the reality, and nothing prepares you for your first sight of the Falls. You will be guided through the rainforest and learn about the Falls as well as the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife. There is nothing quite like the heart-pounding sensation of actually standing on the edge of these magnificent falls and being drenched by the never-ending spray. Very few people are prepared for the incredible beauty and power of the mighty Victoria Falls. The heart-pounding sensation of actually standing on the edge of the Falls above the raging Zambezi waters is something quite unforgettable. After the tour of the Falls you are transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon, you are collected for an evening of dining and entertainment that offers an unforgettable fusion of local cuisine and energetic dance performances at the Victoria Falls Boma Dinner and Drum Show. After dinner you return to your hotel.

From Victoria Falls to the Bushveld - The Kruger National Park - Africa at its Best
After breakfast, you are collected at your hotel and are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Flight included). On your arrival you will be met and will be transferred to Pestana Kruger Lodge via the Malelane entry gate to the Kruger Park to collect the required indemnity forms for your open vehicle game drives.
Pestana Kruger Lodge is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River. During the day the wildlife comes down to the river to quench their thirst. The Crocodile River attracts high densities of wildlife, and the area is as good, if not better than anywhere in the Kruger National Park. Mmilo Tours makes use of the Premium Crocodile River facing rooms at Pestana, which offer great views over the Crocodile River and into the Kruger National Park. Enjoy great views of the Kruger Park from the viewing deck at the main area of the lodge.

Early Morning and Late Afternoon Open Vehicle Game Drives into the Kruger National Park
An early wake-up call signals the start of an exciting day in Big 5 country. You are collected by your safari guide at Pestana for your early morning open vehicle safari. Since this is a “Big 5” territory, encountering lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and all the other iconic wildlife is possible. Excitement will mount as you start seeing some of the numerous animals that inhabit this wildlife sanctuary. Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. The Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. On your return to Pestana Kruger Lodge, enjoy a buffet breakfast in the lodge’s restaurant or on the deck overlooking the Crocodile River. The rest of the day is at leisure. This afternoon you are collected for your afternoon game drive. After sunset, the drive continues, making use of spotlights to search for nocturnal animals.

The Breathtaking Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon
After breakfast, you are collected for a full-day tour of the spectacular Panorama Route, which is arguably one of the most beautiful and popular travel destinations in South Africa. It leads through the rugged mountain range of the northern Drakensberg. Here the inland plateau declines abruptly and steeply, and opens up fantastic views of the plains of the Lowveld up to a thousand metres below. Not only does the Panorama Route offer the most remarkable views over the Lowveld, it is also home to a number of phenomenal geographical features such as waterfalls, canyons, gorges, and river eroded potholes and the 3rd largest canyon in the world - The Blyde River Canyon. Attractions that will be visited are the viewpoint over the Blyde River Canyon at the Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, the Pinnacle Rock and God’s Window. A light lunch is included on the Panorama Route and dinner is enjoyed this evening at Pestana Kruger Lodge on your return.

An early wake-up call signals the start of another exciting day in Big Five territory. You are collected by your Kruger Park safari guide at Pestana Kruger Lodge for your early morning open vehicle game drive into the Kruger Park. As this is a “Big 5” territory, encountering lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and all the other iconic wildlife is possible on this game drive. After breakfast, you are collected at Pestana Kruger Lodge and transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in time for your onward flight to Cape Town. (Flight Included)
Upon your arrival at the Cape Town International Airport you will be met off your flight arriving from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and will be transferred to the Cape Milner Hotel, ideally situated in the trendy central suburb of Tamboerskloof at the foot of Table Mountain. The rest of the evening is at leisure. There are many restaurants in the vicinity of your hotel where dinner can be enjoyed.

Cape Town City, Table Mountain and Blouberg Beach
After breakfast you are collected by you Cape Town based guide for a day tour of the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain, the Bo-Kaap area, which is the heart of the Cape Malay culture in Cape Town, and Blouberg Beach. This day tour incorporates some of the most interesting and historical sights of Cape Town, including the Company Gardens, the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope. Then enjoy unforgettable views from the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, and the summit of Table Mountain itself. (The trip to the summit of Table mountain is weather dependent, and should this not be possible, we visit Signal Hill for views over Cape Town and surrounding areas). The tour ends with a visit to Blouberg Beach which offers outstanding photographic opportunities of Cape Town City, the Waterfront and Table Mountain across Table Bay. A light lunch is included today. After the day tour of Cape Town, you are dropped off at your hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisur.

The Cape Peninsula and The Cape of Good Hope - The fairest Cape of them all
After breakfast you are collected by you guide for a day tour of the magnificent Cape Peninsula. First on the program is a drive to Cape Point, where traditionally the two oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian meet. On our drive along the rugged and scenic Atlantic coast, expect breath-taking views from Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Sentinel Mountain and then you will begin to understand why Sir Francis Drake described this as “the most beautiful Cape in whole the circumference of the globe”, but also why at times the Portuguese name of the “Cape of Storms”, could be as appropriate. We also visit Boulder’s Beach, home of one of the very rare African Penguin colonies on the African coast and also enjoy a cruise from Hout Bay harbour to Duiker Island, the Seal Colony where you can view thousands of wild Cape Fur Seals, up close in their natural habitat. A light lunch is included today. After the day tour, you are dropped off at your hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day at Leisure or Optional Activities
Today is a day at leisure in the vibrant city of Cape Town. Explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, where you can meander along the picturesque harbour, shop at quaint stores, and visit the Watershed for local crafts. Don't miss the Two Oceans Aquarium for a interesting insight to the marine life of the Atlantic Ocean.
Perhaps you might want to enjoy an *optional visit to the Cape Winelands and visit a few wine estates with wine tasting, the Kirstebosch Botanical Gardens, which is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world, set on the slopes of Table Mountain, or take a drive along the breathtakingly beautiful Clarence Drive to the whale watching capital of the world, Hermanus. The best time to enjoy whale watching is between July and November, either from land or by boat. You are almost guaranteed of seeing whales in September, October and November.
