On the first day of your safari, your guide will pick you up from the airport and give you a warm welcome. After being transferred to your accommodation, you will check in and enjoy lunch. Later, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. You will also have a tour of Arusha.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up at 7:30 AM and take you to one of Tanzania's most unique safari parks, Tarangire. Known for its diverse landscape, Tarangire features nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is especially famous for its ancient Baobab trees, the largest trees on the continent, which dominate the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river within the park is teeming with wildlife, ranging from a wide variety of bird species to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, African elephants.

Tarangire is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country, offering unique opportunities to observe the social dynamics within elephant families. In the afternoon, we will continue with a game drive before heading to your accommodation.

Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park

Embark on a beautiful short trip across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Although relatively small in size (205 sq. miles), Lake Manyara offers stunning scenery and is renowned for its lush acacia forests, towering fig trees, and mahogany trees. The park is also home to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Other permanent residents include giraffes, African elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes.

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti, the most famous safari park globally. The journey, though lengthy, offers spectacular views. You will drive through the crater highlands, making a brief stop at the rim for an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the Ngorongoro Crater, a truly unforgettable experience for first-time visitors. As you continue deeper into the Serengeti, you will witness firsthand why its name, in the local language, translates to "endless plains."

A full day in Serengeti National Park. We are entirely flexible to accommodate your preferences, and the itinerary for this day will be tailored to your wishes. Each day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best timings with you, including the game drives and wake-up schedule. For this day, you may opt for a morning game drive, return to the lodge or camp for lunch and relaxation, followed by an afternoon game drive, or choose to enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

On this day, we recommend an early wake-up to embark on a sunrise game drive, a time when wildlife is most active and the landscape is bathed in golden light. Witnessing the sunrise in the African wilderness is truly one of the most breathtaking experiences.

After the game drive, we will return to camp for a well-deserved brunch before continuing our journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. Spanning 102 square miles with towering 2,000-foot walls, the crater serves as a natural sanctuary, home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, making it a truly remarkable destination.

This experience is truly off the beaten path and feels completely authentic rather than touristic. The photographic opportunities are absolutely breathtaking.
