You will depart from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:30 am and head to the western part of Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 3 to 4 hours with a stopover at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time. You will continue through the savannah grasslands dotted with settlements, plantations and several herds of long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country.

Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, you will go for a 2-hour boat launch on Lake Mburo which is home to a variety of water animals such as hippos and crocodiles, as well as several bird species. Later, you will go on a late afternoon game drive in search of plains game like zebra, hippo, crocodile, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. After the game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Have an amazing experience searching for buffaloes, impalas, Uganda kobs, leopards, elands, zebras and giraffes. You will also see some other animals you could have missed out on during the evening game drive. You will then check out at the lodge.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where you will see one of the largest concentrations of hippos and numerous crocodiles and buffaloes, among others.
