Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by our driver-guide and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll head out for a game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most popular parks, renowned for its large herds of elephants. During the drive, you may encounter lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, and wildebeests. You will also be treated to magnificent views of Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive, carrying a packed lunch in hand. You’ll have the opportunity to spot lions, buffaloes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park has recorded over 400 bird species, including kingfishers, pelicans, African fish eagles, and the endangered Malagasy pond heron. Head to the park’s swamps, such as Enkongo Narok Swamp, which attract a variety of animals and birds. It's a great spot for a picnic lunch and some relaxation. You will have the option to visit a Maasai village, where you’ll get a glimpse into their homes, social structure, singing, and dances. Enjoy your lunch and return to your accommodations in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Today we’ll leave Amboseli National Park for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll head out for a game drive around the lake, home to the famous pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru also hosts Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and has one of the largest populations of black rhinos in the world, along with a significant number of white rhinos. Predators in the park include lions, leopards, and large pythons, which can sometimes be seen crossing the road or hanging from trees in the dense woodlands. Other wildlife includes Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, long-eared leaf-nosed bats, colobus monkeys, rock hyraxes, waterbucks, impalas, striped hyenas, wildcats, reedbucks, and golden cats. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Depart from Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch and some time to relax. The Masai Mara is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, the “Big Five,” scenic landscapes, and its rich cultural heritage. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the reserve, keeping an eye out for the “Big Five:” leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos. Later you’ll return to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

Start with a sunrise game drive. The early hours are prime for spotting predators like lions and leopards. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Mara plains. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their customs and participate in activities such as beadwork and traditional dances (optional). Head out for another game drive, focusing on different areas of the reserve. Enjoy a sundowner—a refreshing drink served in the bush while taking in the stunning views (optional). You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari, which offers a unique perspective of the Mara and its wildlife. You will spend the next day exploring the Masai Mara. Return to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
