Day 1

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by our driver guide and proceed to Amboseli National Park. On arrival you will check into your lodge where you will have lunch. Later, head for an afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park which is one of Kenya’s most popular parks, known for its large herds of elephants. You will be able to encounter Lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards and Wildebeests. You will also enjoy the view of Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/resort.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast you will depart for a full day game drive carrying with you your packed lunch. You’ll be able to spot lions, buffaloes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, lions and hyenas. The park has recorded over 400 bird species including kingfishers, pelicans, African fish eagle and the endangered Malagasy Pond Heron. Head to the park’s swamps, such as Enkongo Narok Swamp, which attract a variety of animals and birds. It’s a great spot for picnic lunch and some relaxation. You will have an optional visit to Maasai village where you will be able to have a glimpse into their homes and social structure and also their singing and dances. Enjoy lunch and return to your accommodation in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Leave Amboseli National Park for Lake Nakuru National park. Arrive in time for lunch. Head for an afternoon game drive that takes you around the lake; home of the famous pink flamingo. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world, a large population of white rhinos. Among predators are lions, leopards, large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Other game includes Thompsons and Grant Gazelle, long- eared leaf nosed bats, colobus monkeys, rock hyraxes, waterbucks, impalas, striped hyena, wildcats, reedbucks and golden cats. Dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni Hotel.

Depart from Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to the Great Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Check into your lodge or tented camp. Have lunch and relax. Maasai Mara is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, Big Five, Scenic Landscapes and Cultural Heritage. Embark on your first game drive at the reserve looking out for the Big Five animals [leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos]. Return to your accomodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Start with a sunrise game drive. Early hours are prime for spotting predators like lions and leopards. Enjoy breathtaking sunrise over Mara plains. Visit a traditional Maasai village in the afternoon to learn about their customs and participate in activities like beadwork and traditional dances (optional). Head out for another game drive focusing on different areas of the reserve. Enjoy a sundowner, a refreshing drink served in the bush while taking in the stunning views (optional). You can also have an optional hot air balloon safari, which offers unique perspective of the Mara and its Wildlife. You will spend the next days exploring Maasai Mara Reserve. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
