You'll depart Maun at 9:00 am to Xaxaba Village NG 32 approx. 3 hours drive arriving in camp around 12:00pm. You will be transported in a 4x4 open game viewer to Xaxaba village, deep into the okavango delta. You will drive through Xaraxao village before arriving and entering the buffalo fence in NG 32. This is the fence that keeps the domestic animals and wildlife apart. From the buffalo fence, you will have a 2 hour game drive to the camp site. Animals likely to be seen on the drive, giraffe, elephants, zebras, ostriches, impalas etc. you will find your camp already set and your lunch already prepared. Relax at the comfort of your tent after lunch and lazy around as you await the afternoon activity. The afternoon activity, village cultural tour will start at 4:00pm, here you will meet and interact with Xaxaba village dwellers. You might even sport wildlife passing through the village as people go around the business as usual. Botswana baskets can be purchased here as souvenirs.

Wake up early in the morning, 7:00am and embark on a Mokoro activity immediately after you breakfast. The is the traditional mode of transport for the local people.
The Okavango Delta (or Okavango Grassland; formerly spelled "Okovango" or "Okovanggo") in Botswana is a vast inland delta formed where the Okavango River reaches a tectonic trough at an altitude of 930–1,000m in the central part of the endorheic basin of the Kalahari Desert.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as one of the few interior delta systems that do not flow into a sea or ocean, with a wetland system that is largely intact. All the water reaching the delta is ultimately evaporated and transpired. Each year, about 11 cubic kilometers (2.6 cu mi) of water spread over the 6,000–15,000 km2 (2,300–5,800 sq mi) area.
Arrive back in camp around 11:00am. have a siesta as you await your afternoon activity.

You will enjoy an early morning nature walk on the island, spot various wildlife, and learn about animal tracking. You'll be back for breakfast before departing by road to Maun. arriving Maun in the late afternoon.
