Gorilla Trekking Adventure

After an early breakfast head to the park headquarters for briefing by rangers. They’ll guide you on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety measures.

Into the Heart of the Jungle: Begin your journey into Bwindi rainforest. Trek through dense foliage, navigate rugged trails, and immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of the forest as you search for a habituated mountain gorilla family. This exhilarating hike, lasting 2-6 hours, culminates in a magical one-hour encounter with these gentle giants—watching them feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat is an awe-inspiring and emotional experience.

Return to Serenity: After this unforgettable adventure, return to your lodge for a well-earned lunch. Take time to relax and reflect on the day’s incredible moments.

Cultural Walk: Depending on the time, visit the nearby Batwa, the forest’s original inhabitants, experiencing their rich culture, music, dance, and storytelling.

Evening Bliss: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
