Gorilla Trekking Adventure: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. This is the day you’ve been waiting for!
The Trek: Experience the thrill of trekking through the dense, mist-covered forest. While the trek can be physically demanding, the opportunity to get up close and personal with the endangered mountain gorillas makes it all worth it. The sight of these gentle giants in their natural habitat—socializing, feeding, and playing—is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Afternoon:
Return to the Lodge & Relaxation: After the exhilarating trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and time to unwind. Reflect on the morning’s adventure in a tranquil setting.

Cultural Experience: Optional cultural performance by local dancers to celebrate your successful trek. Enjoy a vibrant display of traditional music and dance that tells the stories of the local communities.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP: After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth NP (about 3-4 hours). The drive offers amazing views of the Kigezi hills, rolling savannahs, and picturesque lakes. You’ll get a taste of the diverse habitats that make Queen Elizabeth such a biodiverse haven.
Check-in: Upon arrival, check into your lodge in the park, you’ll be staying right at the heart of the action, surrounded by wildlife and nature’s beauty.
Afternoon:
Game Drive Safari: Embark on an exciting afternoon game drive through Queen Elizabeth’s southern Ishasha Sector. This area is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, along with herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Capture the stunning views of the savannah, marshes, and distant volcanoes, providing an ever-changing backdrop to your safari.
Evening:

Kalinzu Forest Chimpanzee Trekking & Departure

Morning:

Chimpanzee Trekking: After breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest, just 1.5 hours away. Known for its chimpanzee populations, Kalinzu offers a unique opportunity to track and interact with these playful, intelligent primates in their natural environment.
Trek the Forest: The trek through the lush, biodiverse forest is a true adventure to find the chimpanzee troops. Enjoy watching these fascinating creatures interact, forage for food, and play.

Afternoon:
Boat Safari: After the trek, head back to the park for a relaxing boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This 2-hour cruise offers wildlife viewing opportunities, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and hundreds of bird species, against the stunning backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Lunch and Relaxation: Enjoy lunch at the lodge and take in your last moments in the park.
Evening:
