Continue your journey towards Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. As you drive, you'll be treated to spectacular views of Uganda's rolling hills, terraced farms, and dense forests. Lunch will be en route in Mbarara.

Your guide will take you to the park headquarters, where you’ll be briefed on the trek's details, including safety and etiquette for interacting with the gorillas.

Trek into Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The duration of the trek varies—typically ranging from 1 to 4 hours—depending on the gorillas’ location. The hike can be moderate to challenging, but the reward at the end is unparalleled.

Once you reach the gorillas, you'll be allowed an hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Watch in awe as they interact with each other—feeding, playing, and moving through the dense jungle.

After this extraordinary experience, head back to your lodge, where you’ll enjoy a well-deserved, relaxing lunch.

Embark on a serene Lake Mutanda Boat Ride which offers stunning views of the surrounding Virunga volcanoes.

Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner.

After breakfast, you'll set off on a scenic drive from Mgahinga to Kigali, Rwanda. The journey, which takes approximately 4 hours through the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda and into the lush hills of Rwanda.

Along the way, stop at a Batwa Village for an enriching cultural experience. The Batwa people, once the forest-dwelling inhabitants of this area, have a fascinating history tied to the land and wildlife of the region. Here, you’ll learn about their traditional lifestyle, including their hunting, gathering, and spiritual practices, as well as the challenges they face in the modern world.

You’ll arrive in Kigali in the afternoon. This marks the end of your unforgettable adventure, filled with wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, and breathtaking landscapes.
