As you journey deeper into the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name translates to “endless plains” in the local language.

Covering 18,000 square kilometers (6,900 square miles), the Serengeti is an expanse where the plains seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, challenging your sense of scale. It hosts the incredible Great Migration, with over two million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelope species.

For big cat sightings, the Serengeti is a prime destination, where lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas thrive. Many famous wildlife scenes, such as the dramatic river crossings, have been captured here.

Your day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
