The Magical Adventure Begins

You will leave Lake Nairobi in the morning and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on your afternoon game drive feasting your eyes on the marvels that Masai Mara has to offer. All members of the big 5 are found in this reserve. Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland among others. Different bird species are also found. They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter. In the evening you will retire to your lodge, have dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

After breakfast you leave the lodge carrying packed lunches and embark on a full day of game viewing.

A little plushness is essential for your Masai Mara safari, and nothing is as plush as a sunset breakfast overlooking the gorgeous Mara landscape. You are deep into the wild by 6:00 a.m., surrounded by the breathtakingly dramatic landscapes of this 1,510km2 park.

Expect sunrise, wildlife and more, combined with an ambience that makes a strong case for the park being one of the best destinations for a Kenya safari trip. Your guide knows where the scenery is at its most beautiful and where the views are at their optimal best, so rest assured of an exciting time.
The drive stretches till midday when you sit at a shady and scenic spot in the park for some lunch. The second leg of your Masai Mara safari continues after lunch. Like the morning game drive, wildlife is also very active during the evening.

After a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge, depart on a pleasant drive to Lake Nakuru National Park; Continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park to check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch.

This afternoon we depart on a game viewing drive circumventing Lake Nakuru. The lake is situated in the heart of the Rift Valley and is one of Kenya’s most famous soda lakes. Some of the interesting places to visit include the baboon cliff, the lion hill and the Mau escarpment. Over 300 bird species have been recorded here. This park also provides sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard.

Wake Up! After an early sumptuous breakfast depart to Amboseli National Park, which provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of ‘giant’ elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts – lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa. Start your day with breathtaking sights of Mt Kilimanjaro, if weather allows. After munching on a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on an adventurous game drive throughout the park. You’ll be thrilled to spot large herds of elephants in their natural habitat! The highlight of the tour will be the bird’s eye view from the observation point where you can take in the stunning landscape swarming with wildlife. Africa Calls for You Again

This morning enjoy your breakfast then check-out. Unbelievable but true, your good bush moments have come to an end. Bid farewell to our wonderful lodge manager and his team then depart to Nairobi. Not empty handed though, with you are photographs, a capture of the special moments you have had on this tour to immortalize the experience. Your guide driver can transfer you to the Carnivore restaurant for lunch (if time allows) then drop you at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport.
