Your safari begins early with a pick-up from your hotel. Departing from Nairobi around 6:00am, you will enjoy a scenic drive along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, taking in the beautiful landscapes of Kenya's countryside. Along the way, you will briefly stop for refreshments.
You will arrive at Tsavo West National Park around midday and check into your lodge for lunch. After a short break, you will start your first game drive. Tsavo West is famous for its stunning landscapes, including volcanic hills, lava flows, and diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards and buffalo.
During your safari, you will visit Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles in the crystal-clear waters through an underwater observatory. After a day full of adventure, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and spend the night in the unique stilted accommodations of Salt Lick Safari Lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the wildlife that gathers at the floodlit waterhole.

Day 2

Start your day early with a pre-breakfast game drive to take advantage of the best wildlife viewing opportunities, particularly for predators and other animals that are active at dawn. After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red-dust-covered elephants and expansive savannahs filled with wildlife such as cheetahs, giraffes and impalas. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, and the Aruba Dam, a popular spot for animal gatherings.
Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you can either embark on another game drive within the park or enjoy the lodge's facilities, including the viewing deck that overlooks the watering hole. End your day with dinner and a tranquil night at the lodge, listening to the soothing sounds of the African wilderness.

You should arrive in Nairobi late afternoon or early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel. This marks the end of an unforgettable three-day safari.
