Start your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile River. As the sun rises, the park’s rich biodiversity comes alive, offering sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge for a leisurely breakfast, then relax before an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile, where you’ll witness the breathtaking Murchison Falls. As the boat nears the falls, marvel at the powerful surge of water crashing through the narrow gorge. The boat cruise also provides excellent birdwatching and sightings of hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks.

Kibale is renowned for its primate population, especially chimpanzees, which you’ll have a chance to see up close tomorrow.

Today’s adventure begins with an early morning chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. Today marks the highlight of your safari as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing from the park rangers, set off into the dense forest in search of one of Bwindi’s gorilla families. The trek may take several hours, but encountering the gorillas in their natural habitat is a deeply moving experience. After spending an hour with these gentle giants, return to the park headquarters, receive your trekking certificate, and have lunch before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi. This picturesque lake, known for its terraced hills and dotted islands, offers a perfect setting to relax and unwind after your trek.
