Start your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile River. As the sun rises, the park’s rich biodiversity comes alive, offering sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge for a leisurely breakfast, then relax before an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile, where you’ll witness the breathtaking Murchison Falls. Today’s adventure begins with an early morning chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, trek into the forest and observe these intelligent and lively primates in their natural habitat. In addition to chimpanzees, keep an eye out for other wildlife, such as red colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and a variety of bird species. After spending an hour with these gentle giants, return to the park headquarters, receive your trekking certificate, and have lunch before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi. This picturesque lake, known for its terraced hills and dotted islands, offers a perfect setting to relax and unwind after your trek.
