Start your day with breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead. Proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by expert rangers. They will explain trekking protocols, share fascinating insights, and assign you to a specific gorilla family.

With anticipation, venture into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trek through dense jungle, navigating moss-covered trails and towering trees looking for a family of mountain gorillas.

Spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants as they forage, groom, and interact.

Afternoon
After this life-changing encounter, return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy a well-deserved, delicious lunch.

In the mid-afternoon, set off for Lake Bunyonyi, often referred to as the "place of many little birds" as you marvel at its crystal-clear waters, dotted with 29 picturesque islands.

Arrive at your lodge near Kibale Forest in the early afternoon and settle in for a freshly prepared lunch. Take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the lodge before your next adventure.

Later in the afternoon, venture into the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary for an immersive nature walk. This guided experience, lasting about 2 hours, is perfect for birdwatchers and primate enthusiasts. Spot vibrant species like the Great Blue Turaco, red colobus monkeys, and a variety of other wildlife.

Continue your journey to Entebbe from Fort Portal. Arrive in Entebbe by early evening, just in time for your departure and if it is later or scheduled for the next day, check into a comfortable hotel and relax after your incredible Ugandan adventure.
