Upon arrival at the Airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Aiport), a Habitat Adventures Travel representative will meet you and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will stay overnight in a midrange hotel while waiting for the safari adventure to start the following day.

Arusha to Tarangire national park
Early in the morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, at around 7:30 am - 8.00 am, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tarangire National Park is famous for the most significant African elephants, giant baobab trees, and the mini-wildlife migration of more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks, with an area of more than 2600 sq km. You will also see different animal species, such as numerous impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelles, and gerenuks. You will also encounter wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, which seem prevalent in the southern open areas. We will serve you a hot picnic lunch at around midday. In the evening, you will drive straight to your lodge for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner, and an overnight stay.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast at around 8:00 am, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point. After that, you will descend into the 600m deep crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the world's most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai community. On reaching the crater's edge, the 20km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinos. We will serve you a hot lunch near the hippo pool at a picnic site. After lunch, we will drive you to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu to Zanzibar via Arusha
After breakfast at your accommodation in Karatu, you will drive straight to Mto Wa Mbu village. Mto Wa Mbu, situated on the main road before Kratu town, surrounded by breathtaking scenery is believed to be home to representatives of all Tanzania's 120 community groups.
This melting pot of cultures is home to around 20000 people, that form a flourishing farming community.
Observe their farms, milling machines, schools, markets, and churches. Visit the village banana plantation and a youth art group, where you'll see different painting techniques.
You'll enter a workshop and watch skillful members of the Makonde people carve detailed figurines, masks, and household objects out of wood.
You'll visit a local ‘bar’ to try Mbege. A traditional banana and millet beer is brewed and drunk mainly by the Chagga people.
After a brief refreshment, don't miss the bustling local market.
After these activities, you will drive to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar (Stone Town).

Sunrise at Nungwi Beach: Start your day early by watching the sun rise over the Indian Ocean. The sky and water transform into beautiful shades of orange and pink—perfect for photos.
Breakfast: Head to one of the beachfront restaurants or cafes for a delicious breakfast, maybe try fresh tropical fruits or Swahili-style pancakes (mandazi) with a coconut drink.
Late Morning:
Snorkeling or Scuba Diving: Nungwi is known for its vibrant coral reefs and marine life. You can book a snorkeling trip with one of the local tour operators or try scuba diving for a more in-depth underwater experience.
Afternoon:
Lunch at a Beachfront Restaurant: Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at one of the restaurants along the coast. Many places serve grilled fish, prawns, and lobster.
Relax on the Beach: After lunch, take some time to relax under the sun or shade, swim, and just enjoy the beach.
