Arrival in Maasai Mara and transfer to Sarova Mara Game Camp

Your adventure begins with a scenic charter flight from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, offering aerial views of Kenya’s dramatic landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley. On arrival you’ll be met by a representative from Sarova Mara Game Camp and transferred by luxury 4x4 vehicle to the camp. The drive will take about 45 minutes, and you'll get your first chance to enjoy a short game drive en route.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and a briefing on the camp’s amenities. The camp offers luxury tented suites, each with a private veranda, en-suite bathrooms, and modern safari decor, ensuring your comfort and privacy in the heart of the Mara.
In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve, with your expert guide leading you in search of the region's iconic wildlife. Full day of safari activities

Start your day with a morning game drive. The Mara is at its most active during the early hours, making it the perfect time to spot predators in action, such as lions hunting or leopards moving through the grasslands.
After your game drive, return to Sarova for a delicious breakfast served alfresco, surrounded by stunning views of the savannah. The morning is a good time to relax at the lodge or take part in optional activities like a bush walk with a Maasai guide, where you’ll learn about the Maasai people’s close relationship with the land.
For those seeking a unique experience, hot-air balloon safaris can be arranged (usually at dawn).
In the afternoon, indulge in a leisurely lunch back at the camp, followed by another game drive in search of more wildlife sightings. Alternatively, you can visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience.
As the day winds down, enjoy a sundowner in the Mara as you take in the beautiful sunset, before returning to the camp for a gourmet dinner.

Final game drive and departure to Nairobi

On your final morning, rise early for one last game drive as the savannah comes alive with the early morning light. Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to witness the famous Great Wildebeest Migration (typically between July and October), or you might encounter lions on a hunt or elephants bathing in the river.
After your game drive, return to Sarova Mara Game Camp for a relaxing breakfast at the lodge. Take a moment to savor your last views of the Mara before checking out.
Following breakfast, enjoy a short game drive as you make your way to the airstrip. You’ll be transferred back to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, where you’ll arrive by midday.
In Nairobi, you may choose to visit local attractions such as the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust before continuing your journey or catching your onward flight.
