Following breakfast at your lodge, you'll begin your journey to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and some leisure at your accommodation. A highlight of the Mara is the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles from the Serengeti, crossing rivers and the Tanzanian border to reach the Mara's rich grasslands, all while being pursued by predators and scavengers such as vultures. You may even come across cheetahs that are so accustomed to vehicles they seek refuge in their shade or perch on top to get a better view of potential prey.
Birdwatchers will be delighted by the incredible variety of bird species in the reserve, with almost 500 species recorded. Notable highlights include 16 types of eagles, hawks, and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 different storks, the iconic kori bustard, and 9 species of sunbirds. After a day of remarkable wildlife encounters, return to your camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, deep in the heart of Africa’s wilderness.

Rise early for a satisfying breakfast before embarking on an en-route game drive as you depart from the Masai Mara National Reserve. This final drive provides a last chance to witness the remarkable wildlife that calls the region home, so keep an eye out for any final animal sightings as you head toward the Isebania/Sirare border between Kenya and Tanzania.
Upon arrival at the border, we’ll handle all the necessary formalities, ensuring a seamless entry into Tanzania. Once we’ve crossed, we’ll continue our journey toward Serengeti National Park. Although it will be a long travel day, the stunning landscapes and the possibility of encountering wildlife along the way will make it all the more memorable. As you pass through diverse terrains, you might spot distant herds of wildebeest or elephants grazing peacefully. After an adventurous day, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind with an overnight stay at your campsite or lodge, ready for more unforgettable experiences in the Serengeti.

As we depart from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we’ll make our way to Arusha, with an expected arrival around 5:00 PM. However, we remain flexible to adjust for any travel preferences or special requests you may have.
