Day 1

Nairobi -Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the hotel or airport upon arrival and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at Narok town for lunch. On arrival, proceed for a game drive tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Day 2

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Naivasha. You have an option to take a boat ride to visit Crescent Island to go and see hippos and fish eagles at an extra cost. Dinner and your overnight stay are at a budget hotel.

Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate National Park -Nairobi

After breakfast, you have the option to go for a nature walk in Hell's Gate National Park, under the instructions of a guide. You may hire bicycles to cycle at an extra cost. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, Augur buzzards, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer antelope and Chanler's mountain reedbuck. The park has attractions like the Olkaria and Hobley's, two extinct volcanoes and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell's Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contain two volcanic plugs. Later, drive to Nairobi and be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
