Day 1

We will pick you up from the airport in the morning, beginning your trip to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its vast trees, savannas, and seasonal marshes. It is also home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania—over 4,000 were counted recently! You can expect to see giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus, and various antelopes and gazelles during your visit.

Upon your arrival at the park, your driver will take you on a game drive to explore the area, providing a fantastic photography opportunity. Later, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site. In the afternoon, you will continue to explore the park's beauty.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will take our lunch boxes and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once there, you will descend into the crater to enjoy a game drive. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a variety of wildlife, including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hippos and majestic African elephants. Additionally, the area boasts a dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can sometimes be tricky to spot.

Regarding birdlife, you may see flamingos and geese, storks, vultures and more on the soda lake. Your lunch will be served at a picnic site in the crater, at Ngoitoktok Swamp and at the hippo pool. Later, you will return to the Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with meals included.

Today, you will enjoy breathtaking views over Lake Manyara, get up close with elephants in the woodlands, and visit the famous Manyara hippo pool, where numerous hippos stay in the water from early morning until late evening. Lake Manyara National Park is a renowned wildlife viewing destination located southwest of Arusha in northern Tanzania.

The park is particularly famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are often seen lounging on branches during safaris. Visitors can explore the park by canoeing, bird-watching and photographing.

Wildlife species commonly spotted include elephants, leopards, giraffes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, baboons and gazelles. Additionally, a variety of bird species, such as black-faced sand grouse, long-tailed fiscal flycatchers, flamingos, pelicans, and many more, can also be observed in Lake Manyara National Park.
