After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your professional guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park, with a packed lunch to enjoy during your game drive in the heart of the park. Located in the northern part of Tanzania, just a short distance from Arusha, Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and impressive ancient baobab trees.
You’ll continue your game drive throughout the day, spotting a variety of wildlife such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, and waterbucks, as well as an array of bird species that the park is famous for. In the evening, you will head to your accommodation within the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
On this day of your safari, you'll start early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive caldera, the largest of its kind in the world, is an inactive, intact volcanic crater with a floor covering about 260 square kilometers and a depth of over 2,000 feet. During your 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor, you'll witness an abundance of wildlife, so be sure to keep your camera ready. You'll likely encounter African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions, among others. After enjoying a picnic lunch by the picturesque Hippo Pool, you'll continue with an afternoon game drive before beginning the steep climb back to the crater rim.

Hadzabe and Dagota tribe
After breakfast, your safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi, where you'll have the chance to meet the Hadzabe tribe, renowned for their remarkable hunting skills. The tribe will invite you to join them on a hunting expedition, giving you a unique opportunity to witness their techniques firsthand. Following this, you'll continue your journey to meet the Datoga tribe, known for their expertise in blacksmithing. Take some time to explore the area around Lake Eyasi and visit a local village. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day Tanzania safari adventure.
