Day 1

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

We will begin our adventure with an early morning departure from Entebbe, embarking on a 4 to 5-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
This journey will take us through Uganda’s scenic landscapes, with views of rural villages and rolling hills. We will make a stop at the Equator for a brief photo opportunity and a chance to stretch our legs.

Upon arrival at Lake Mburo, you will check into your lodge and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, we will set out on a guided nature walk to explore the park’s unique ecosystem, which is home to zebras, impalas, warthogs, and an array of bird species.

This experience will give you an up-close look at the flora and fauna that make the park special. We will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in our tents.

Day 2

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, we will set off on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours.
The drive will showcase beautiful terrain with panoramic views of the countryside and farmland. We will have a lunch stop at a local restaurant along the way, allowing you to relax and refuel before continuing.

As we near Bwindi, the landscape becomes more rugged and mountainous, building anticipation for the next day's gorilla trekking.
We will arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon or early evening, where you will check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

The day begins with an early breakfast to ensure timely arrival at the park’s briefing center by 7:00 AM. Here, park rangers will brief you on the protocols for gorilla trekking, including safety guidelines and behavior during the trek.

The actual trek can last from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family, and will take you through dense forest and steep terrain.
Experienced guides and trackers will lead the way, sharing insights into the forest’s biodiversity. Once we find the gorilla family, you will have up to one hour to observe and photograph their behavior and interactions—a truly unforgettable experience.
After the trek, we will drive for about 1.5 to 2 hours to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its breathtaking views and serene waters. You will check into your lodge, have dinner, and spend the night by the tranquil lake.

Day 4

After a relaxed breakfast by the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, we will embark on our drive back to Entebbe. This journey will take approximately 7 to 8 hours, with picturesque views of the rolling hills and terraced farms of southwestern Uganda. We will make a stop for lunch along the way to break up the journey.
You can enjoy the scenic drive back, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past days.

We expect to arrive in Entebbe by the early evening, marking the end of an enriching 4-day safari filled with nature, wildlife, and unforgettable memories.
