Maun to Moremi Game Reserve
The safari begins in Maun, where your guide will meet you at 7.30am at a pre-arranged meeting point. From Maun, you will drive through to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. During a short break en-route, your guide will give you a full overview of your safari. You are only required to set up and pack your tents, and help out getting your luggage in and out of the trailers on this trip. All cooking, cleaning and any other camp chores are taken care of by the Bush Ways Safaris team.
Maun – Western Moremi: 150km, 6-7 hours (transfer and game drive).

Moremi Game Reserve
Days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. Game drives early in the morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm. After your morning game drives, you will return to camp for lunch and a siesta. On day 3, you will move campsites to explore a different area of this diverse park. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions.

Moremi to Savuti
Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. Camping will be in a private designated area with bush ablutions in the Savuti area.
Eastern Moremi – Savuti: 120km, 7-8 hour (transfer and game drive).

Savuti to Chobe River
You head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African fish eagle. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions, in the northern part of the park closer to the riverfront.
Day 5: Savuti - Chobe River: 170km, 5-6hour (transfer and game drive).

Chobe River to Victoria Falls
After a short morning game drive, you will then drive to Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side (visa required). Here you will spend the night at a comfortable lodge. In the afternoon, there will be time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop at the curios. Dinner will be at your own expense. (Breakfast and lunch are provided)
Chobe River – Victoria Falls: 100km, 2-3 hour (including border crossing).

The safari officially ends at 10:00 am on day 8.
We are happy to arrange post-tour accommodation, activities and transfers to Livingstone Airport or lodges, Victoria Falls Airport or lodges or Kasane, Botswana at an additional cost. Activities in Livingstone include white water rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, canoeing on the upper Zambezi, elephant rides and helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls. Please ask your guide for further details.
NOTE: No single travellers rates apply if you are travelling alone and are ok sharing your tent with a same-sex traveller on the tour. Only if you wish to have your own tent then the single traveller rate applies.
