Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, your guide will be there to greet you and assist with your luggage. You’ll then begin your safari adventure with a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the world’s most renowned safari destinations.
As you journey through the Great Rift Valley, enjoy the beautiful landscape and pass by small Maasai villages, offering a glimpse of local life. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, you will head out for your first exciting game drive. The Mara is famous for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos), cheetahs, giraffes, and wildebeests. The vast open savannah provides the perfect backdrop for your wildlife experience.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Start your day with an early breakfast and head out for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara. This is when the animals are most active, and you’ll have the chance to witness predators hunting and observe a variety of wildlife behaviors in their natural habitat.
After the morning game drive, return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, you have the option to relax or take part in an optional hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost), offering a breathtaking aerial view of the Mara's beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife.
In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive to explore different parts of the reserve known for their high concentrations of wildlife. Depending on the time of year, you may even witness the iconic Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures.
Return to your lodge for dinner and another night under the African stars.

Day 3

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately 5-6 hours away. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive around Lake Nakuru, known for its breathtaking views and large population of flamingos that often grace the shores. The Park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and the elusive leopard.
You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Baboon Cliff, which offers a panoramic view of the park and its surroundings.
Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful evening.

Explore Hells Gate National Park & transfer to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and head to Hell’s Gate National Park, located just 30 minutes from Lake Nakuru. Hell’s Gate is famous for its geothermal activity, including hot springs and geysers, and offers a unique opportunity for a walking safari or even a cycling tour through its dramatic landscapes. The Park is home to zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and warthogs, and the striking cliffs and ravines make for a stunning backdrop.
You will also visit Ol Njorowa Gorge, where you can take a short hike and enjoy the beauty of this unique natural feature.
After exploring Hell’s Gate, you’ll continue on a short 30-minute drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. You may choose to take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, a variety of bird species, and sometimes even giraffes grazing along the shores.

In the late morning, begin your drive back to Nairobi (approximately 1.5-2 hours). Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return flight or at your Nairobi hotel, depending on your travel plans.
