Day 2

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver ready for the safari. Drive from Nairobi to Nanyuki. You will be at Sweetwaters Serena Camp just before lunch. The afternoon will be filled with lots of experiences as you will have an opportunity to visit and even feed the tamed Black rhino in Ol Pejeta conservancy. Black rhinos are naturally very aggressive and this might be the only chance you come across a friendly one.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place these endangered and incredibly intelligent primates can be found in Kenya. The sanctuary provides a haven for orphaned and abused chimpanzees that enjoy roaming freely in their vast natural enclosure. You will then proceed on a game drive in the afternoon as you enjoy the views of Mt Kenya from the conservancy.

Day 4

Ol Pejeta to Nakuru

Ol Pejeta to Nakuru

At the floor of the Rift Valley lies Lake Nakuru surrounded by the woodlands and bushes that make up the park. The drive to Nakuru is roughly 3 hours hence you will be in Nakuru in time for lunch. The afternoon will be filled with adventure a you tour the various attractions within the park. Lake Nakuru derives its name from the Masai word "Enakuro" which means cloud of dust. It is home to many herbivores including Rothschild's giraffe, buffalo, hippo, gazelle and nearly 55 mammals including lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, rock hyraxes and reedbuck. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for hosting both white and black rhinoceros, reintroduced after many years of absence. You will cherish the panoramic views of the lake from the Baboon cliff. At an extra cost you can experience the pink coloured shores of the lake on a boat ride offered by locals. You will thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Drive from the lake region to Maasai Mara national reserve. Discover the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. Covering an area of 1510 km², the Masai Mara reserve is in fact the extension in Kenyan territory of the vast Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Together, they constitute a huge ecosystem in which animals move freely. In the Maa language, Mara means "spotted" and may refer to the colorful landscapes. Alternatively, the name may refer to the arrival of over two million herbivores during the annual migration (wildebeest, gazelles and zebras).

Balloon safari in the Masai Mara(Optional), a magical experience as you take in a bird's eye view of the vast, rolling plains below you. This unique and exhilarating excursion takes place early in the morning when you can marvel at the fantastic sight of the rising sun and gently float over the thousands of animals below you. This is the best time to spot wildlife as well as enjoy the peaceful vistas and crisp, clear air. Undisturbed by your presence, the animals will continue with their daily activities as you snap away and marvel at the beauty of Africa. The balloon safari ends by touching down in the wilds of the Masai Mara to enjoy a delectable champagne breakfast.
You will then proceed for a full day game drive and explore the magic offered by the Maasai Mara ecosystem.

You will spend the morning at leisure before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Mombasa.
Mombasa is situated on the Eastern coastline of Kenya next to the Indian Ocean famous for its spectacular beaches. Mombasa has an assorted aquatic life, luxurious hotels as well as a very hospitable environment. Mombasa has a tropical climate throughout the year suitable for travellers of all ages. The north coast beaches are very popular for being much more vibrant.
There are exceptional palm-lined beaches that have beautiful turquoise water, coral reefs plus a variety of water sports for all types of people.

You can opt to bath in the sand along the sandy beaches, lie under the palm trees at the hotel garden or Embark on a Wasini Island Excursion(Optional). The Excursion starts with a pick up from your hotel for a Swahili-style day. Your day will begin on a tasty note as you hop aboard a dhow (traditional fisherman’s boat) for a hearty Swahili Lunch that dishes up the most sensational flavours out of simple ingredients and includes fresh tropical fruit. Once you have had your fill, your excursion heads off to the nearby Kisite Marine National Park where swimming and snorkelling can be enjoyed in warm, calm waters that support a treasure chest of aquatic creatures and, more often than not, pods of friendly and curious dolphins. This highly popular tourist destination is renowned for its clear water, colourful coral reefs and ideal snorkelling conditions year-round.

Optional Activities include city tour of Mombasa city, Old town and Mida Creek excusion.
