2-Day Fly-in from Zanzibar to Tarangire NP & Ngorongoro

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, you will be picked up at 8:00am and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your 9:15am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will greet you and give an overview of your safari. Then, you'll enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, with a game drive along the way. In the afternoon, a picnic lunch will be served in the park, followed by another game drive in the until late afternoon.

After the game drive, we will head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, particularly its large elephant herds. The park features a variety of landscapes, including seasonal swamps and savanna, with the Tarangire River winding through it. You may have the opportunity to spot lions on the hunt or leopards observing the plains from the trees above.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Zanzibar

After breakfast at your lodge, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive, where you may spot the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool amidst stunning scenery. Afterward, continue exploring the crater's wildlife and landscape. At 1:30 p.m., we’ll begin the journey back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 p.m. flight. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, concluding your remarkable safari experience.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, making it one of Africa's natural wonders. Approximately 30,000 large mammals reside here year-round, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos. Additionally, you will find a variety of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles and buzzards. You can expect to see a wide range of animals during your visit.
