After breakfast at the lodge, proceed on a guided Sossuslvei excursion, including lunch in the dunes.

You can explore the area with a professional guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle, visit petrified dunes and the Tsauchab riverbed, learn about desert flora and fauna, history, and geology, hike to Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei using secret routes, enjoy an "Out of Africa" picnic, visit Sesriem Canyon, and indulge in sundowners while watching the magnificent sunset over the red dunes.

Later, enjoy a sundowner drive.

Travel into the dunes along the sandy shore to view the incredible Sandwich Harbour (tide-dependent). It is a real Skeleton Coast experience and a fantastic way to explore where the dunes meet the sea.

Venture through golden landscapes of endless rolling dunes to find the secret place where the Atlantic touches the world's oldest desert. Explore the Naukluft Park with amazing views of the Walvis Bay lagoon, salt pans, the Kuiseb Delta, the Atlantic Ocean and, of course, the Namib Desert.

While Sandwich Harbour itself is a little short of 60km south of Walvis Bay, it is indeed an outing to get there. This is what makes it so special. It's an incredible wetland wilderness devoid of any human settlement and home to 8 endangered species as well as wading birds.

The Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind in Namibia. It is built in exactly the right spot to give guests probably one of the best sunset views in Namibia, overlooking the beautiful scarceness of the Etosha Pan, decorated only with its wild animals and hundreds of camelthorn trees.

Activities include Etosha guided safaris, sunset drives in the Onguma Reserve, guided interpretive bush walks, and massage therapy at the Onguma Sanctuary. The new, water-level Onkolo hide offers many photographic opportunities and allows guests to sit calmly and enjoy nature unobserved. Guests can also have a sleep-out in a custom-built Land Cruiser, featuring a bathroom downstairs and a bedroom with a lounge area upstairs. Some activities may incur an additional cost.
