Day 2

After breakfast, your taxi will be waiting to take you on a short drive to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha. The flight is quick and comfortable, lasting just over an hour. Upon arrival in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania, you will be greeted by your driver-guide, who will accompany you on the transfer to Tarangire National Park to begin your private safari game drive.

The park, named after the Tarangire River that runs through it, is a tranquil haven known for its incredible elephant migration, diverse birdlife, and authentic safari atmosphere. As you explore, you'll enjoy a packed lunch during the midday break, surrounded by the beauty of the park.

Today, you’ll embark on a long but rewarding drive through the vast Serengeti National Park. Depending on the movement of the migration, you may venture further north, where the endless plains give way to acacia forests and dense bush. The northern section of Serengeti is less visited than the southern and central areas, offering a more exclusive safari experience with fewer vehicles on the road.

As the day comes to a close, you’ll exit the park through Klein’s Gate. Just a few kilometers away, you’ll be immersed in the rich and vibrant culture of the Maasai, a captivating glimpse into the traditions of this iconic community.

You may even catch a glimpse of the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro as your plane makes a brief stop in Arusha.

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, your driver-guide will be waiting to take you to Sea Cliff Resort, where you’ll check into your suite with a mangrove or pool view on an all-inclusive meal plan.
