Transfer by Air from Zanzibar to Serengeti NP

In the morning, you will get picked up from your hotel then we will drive you to Zanzibar Airport. You will fly by a small plane into the Serengeti Seronera Airstrip. Upon arriving at Seronera Airstrip, you will start morning game drives till the afternoon. You will have your picnic lunch then continue with an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti till sunset. Moyo tented Camp will be your sleeping place right after a day game drive.

Hot air Ballon safari & Game drive continue to Northern serengeti

You’ll start your day with an early Hot air Balllon safari before embarking on a game drive at approximately 6:30 a.m., dedicating 6-7 hours to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti.
The Serengeti teems with wildlife, including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. It is world-renowned for its spectacular migration, featuring vast herds of animals: 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeests, and 500,000 antelopes. This incredible movement is dictated by rainfall patterns, making each year unique. In addition to the migrating herds, you might encounter predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

After an exhilarating game drive, you’ll return to your camp around 2:00 p.m., where you can unwind, savor a delicious meal, and reminisce about the unforgettable sights of the day.

You’ll dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti on thrilling game drives. The park is a haven for diverse wildlife, including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is most renowned for the massive migration of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest. This awe-inspiring movement, influenced by rainfall patterns, changes annually.

Between November and December, the herds journey from the northern woodlands and hills to the lush southern plains. During the long rains from April to June, they make their way back to the north. Alongside the migrating herds, you might also encounter the Serengeti’s resident predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
