Arusha to Tarangire National Park Safari

Program of the day: Your guide will pick you up at 06:30 AM from Kilimanjaro International Airport or your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving at 09:00 AM. Begin your exciting game drive through iconic landscapes dotted with towering baobab trees and abundant wildlife. At 01:00 PM, enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch at a scenic site within the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM, exploring areas near the Tarangire River where wildlife gathers. At 04:30 PM, exit the park and drive to Karatu, arriving at your lodge at 05:30 PM for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

The park is named after the Tarangire River, the main water source for wildlife in the dry season. It is known for its elephants, giant baobabs, and tree-climbing African pythons. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park Safari

Program of the day: Your game drive begins at your lodge after breakfast at 06:00 AM, followed by a scenic transfer to Central Serengeti, arriving around 09:00 AM for an exhilarating morning drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch at 12:30 PM amidst the breathtaking landscape, then continue your afternoon drive until 05:00 PM, spotting majestic lions, elusive leopards, swift cheetahs, towering giraffes, roaming elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and other remarkable wildlife.

Witness the Serengeti migration, with wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains, attracting predators and offering a rare glimpse into the circle of life on this iconic landscape, before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will head for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, focusing on the spectacular Great Migration and other wildlife highlights. At 12:00 PM, return to your lodge for a hot lunch, or alternatively enjoy a packed picnic lunch prepared for you in the park. In the afternoon, continue with exciting game drives while making your way out of the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the route, enjoy a complimentary visit to a Maasai village, gaining insight into local culture. In the evening, arrive at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay, taking in the stunning surrounding landscapes.

Central Serengeti, or Seronera, is the prime area to witness the Great Migration, with vast herds of wildebeest and zebras moving through between December and March. This period offers unparalleled wildlife viewing against the park’s iconic savannah landscapes and kopjes.
