Day 1

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning by road driving across the Equator from southern to the Northern hemisphere. Have a break in Nanyuki town and proceed onwards to the semi arid region of Samburu game reserve. Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch, followed by a siesta before departing to the wild for an afternoon game drive. Samburu game reserve is known for is unique species like the gravy zebra, the long necked gerenuk among other species. You will also have a view of the wild cats and elephants.
Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Reteti Sanctuary and Buffalo Springs National Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart to Reteti Sanctuary. You will visit the sanctuary with a local guide and your driver guide. Here, you have a choice to adopt a baby or an orphaned elephant. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation with an en route stop over at the Mount Ololokwe view point. In the afternoon, you will drive back to into the wild in search of more wild animals returning to your lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to say goodbye to the wild as you’re chauffeured to your next destination. Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, famed for its rhino sanctuary and chimpanzee rescue center. You'll have a chance to visit these conservation efforts and learn about the wildlife protection projects. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive, with the possibility of seeing the "Big Five" and other species. Stay overnight at a comfortable lodge, soaking in the serenity of the conservancy.
