Day 1

You'll leave the bustling capital behind as you journey to Samburu National Reserve, which will be a 5- and 1/2-hours drive, the gateway to Samburu land. You'll enjoy stunning views of the rugged terrain and stop to experience the culture of the Samburu people. You will check in at the hotel, have lunch, and head for our afternoon game drive at Samburu National Reserve. You will be able to see animals such as lions, Somali giraffes, cheetahs, Aardvark, Aardwolf, African Hare, Banded Mongoose, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and African buffalos. You'll spend a night in the serene wilds near the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 2

Samburu National Reserve to Ngurnit

Samburu National Reserve to Ngurnit

After breakfast, you will check out at the hotel and travel north to Ngurunit, a picturesque village nestled between the Ndoto Mountains and Mathews Range. On your way, you will have a stopover at Mount Ololokwe, enjoy its beautiful nature, and take some pictures. You will arrive at Ngurunit, check in at the camp, and have lunch whereby. In the afternoon, you will discover the beauty of the rolling hills, natural rockslides, and unique community projects. Interact with the local Samburu communities and learn about their traditions.

Day 3

Ngurunit to South Horr

Ngurunit to South Horr

You will have breakfast in the morning, you'll check out at the camp, and take some morning photos at Ngurunit River enjoying a cool breeze and an epic sunrise. You'll continue to South Horr, a tranquil valley surrounded by volcanic mountains, that is Mount Nyiro and Ldonyo Mara. You'll enjoy the spectacular scenery and visit local communities to experience their rich traditions and colorful beadwork. Upon arriving, you will check in at the camp. You will set to Loibor seder sand dunes and enjoy camel riding too. With the option of hiking Mount Nyiro, the Samburu community's sacred mountain, and enjoy its best nature and bird watching.

Day 4

South Horr to Loiyangalani

South Horr to Loiyangalani

In the morning after breakfast, you'll check out from the camp and head to Loiyangalani, a remote oasis by the shores of Lake Turkana, the world’s largest desert lake. You will have a stopover at Lake Turkana wind farm, one of the biggest wind farms, and enjoy and immerse yourself in the stunning lunar-like landscape. Upon reaching, you will check in at the resort and have a nourishing lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the El Molo community and explore the unique cultural heritage of the region, discovering their ancient fishing methods and techniques. In the evening, you'll return to Liyangalani Pass near Lakeshore Beach, and enjoy the sundowner while you return to the resort bringing our adventurous day to a close.

Day 5

Loiyangalani

Loiyangalani area exploration remains on the fifth day. After breakfast, you will visit Turkana village which provides insights into the local craftsmanship with wood. You will get to know deeply their cultures and the meaning behind the tattoos of Local men have on them and their cultural significance. You will return to the resort for lunch and in the afternoon, you will visit the Desert Museum, a very captivating place showcasing the traditions, art, lives, and beliefs of the desert inhabitants. After there, you'll visit the lake shore beach. In the evening, you will return to your resort.

Day 6

Loiyangalani to North Horr

Loiyangalani to North Horr

After breakfast, you'll check out from the resort and Journey across the Chalbi Desert to North Horr, a vast serene desert landscape, for a 3-hour drive. You'll experience the stark beauty of the region, interact with local Gabra communities, and witness their nomadic way of life. After checking in, you'll visit Kalacha Oasis, where you’ll witness the daily life of local shepherds guiding their camels to this life-sustaining watering hole.
Next, you'll visit the Gabra tribe, a resilient community living in the heart of the Chalbi Desert. You'll learn about their traditional nomadic lifestyle and the ways they have adapted to thrive in challenging environments.
After lunch, we prepare for an adventure into the Chalbi Desert dunes. Experience the vast, rolling sands with their breathtaking view, an opportunity for photography, and quiet reflection in nature’s grandeur.
At sunset, you'll go back to camp for a relaxing evening under the star-filled skies.

After breakfast, you'll check out from the camp and embark on our 4 and half hours drive to Marsabit, a green oasis in the desert, known for its lush forest and dramatic volcanic landscapes. You'll visit Marsabit National Park, home to elephants, rare birds, and the iconic Lake Paradise. After checking in at the hotel, you will have our lunch. After lunch, refreshed and energized, you’ll head out for an exciting safari through Marsabit National Park, a stunning nature reserve located on the slopes of Mount Marsabit, famous for its thriving zebra population and vibrant bird sanctuary.

During your safari, you’ll explore the park’s diverse wildlife and make your way to the crater’s edge. From there, a scenic hiking trail will guide you to the breathtaking Lake Paradise—a truly magical sight that will leave you in awe of its serene beauty. After the exploration in the evening, you will head to your hotel and have your dinner as we call it a day!
