Day 1

You will depart from Zanzibar Airport and embark on a scenic 1.5-hour flight over the Indian Ocean, passing the stunning hinterland of Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, and the expansive Serengeti plains before descending into Seronera Airstrip. The aerial views are truly breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of this incredible landscape.

Within half an hour of landing, you'll hop into a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, ready to begin your Serengeti adventure. At midday, you'll stop for a relaxing picnic lunch and a chance to stretch your legs before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, you'll head to Serengeti Serena for a restful overnight stay, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s remarkable sights.

Day 2-3

After breakfast at Serengeti Serena, you’ll begin your safari heading north through a stunning array of ever-changing landscapes. The journey starts along dirt tracks lined with shrubby savannah, home to impalas and giraffes. As you continue, you’ll reach the Lobo area, where the scenery shifts to a blend of grasslands, rivers, hills, and forests. Depending on the movements of the wildebeest migration, you may even venture further north.

This northern section of the Serengeti is less frequented than the southern and central areas, offering a more intimate and exclusive safari experience. At the end of the day, you’ll exit the park through Klein’s Gate. A short drive beyond, you’ll be greeted by a vibrant display of Maasai culture in its full splendor. Your day concludes with an overnight stay at Tanzania Bush Camp, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful retreat under the African sky.

After breakfast, you’ll hop back into the safari jeep for another exciting day in search of wildlife. Today’s adventure takes you to the hidden gem of Pololeti Game Reserve, located just outside the Serengeti National Park. This pristine area is on the migratory route of the Great Migration and offers a diverse landscape, ranging from vast grassy plains to forested hills and striking stone boulders. These boulders are often used as lookout points by lions and leopards, adding to the thrill of the safari.

As the day winds down, you’ll return to Tanzania Bush Camp for a delicious dinner and enjoy a well-deserved night’s rest, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of the day.

Today, you’ll start early, as the entire day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Serengeti National Park! After checking out of your accommodation, you’ll board the safari jeep with all your gear, ready to traverse the vast expanse of the park. Throughout the day, you’ll have numerous opportunities to witness unique wildlife moments as the landscape continuously shifts, offering ever-changing scenery.

As the day comes to a close, you’ll make your way to the southern region of Serengeti, continuing toward Ndutu. This serene location offers your next accommodation, nestled in the heart of nature. Day 6

Be sure to rise early today to make the most of your descent into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll be awestruck by the stunning beauty that surrounds you, especially as you reach the crater’s edge and gaze upon one of the world’s natural wonders. The Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient, inactive volcano about 3 million years old and covering 20 square kilometers, is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth.

Thanks to its natural borders, the crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife. It's one of the best places to see the Big Five, with a good chance of spotting the rare black rhino. Add to that the presence of hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants, and you’ll find yourself immersed in the ultimate safari experience. After a day filled with breathtaking wildlife encounters, you'll head to Karatu for a well-deserved overnight rest.

You’ll wake up to the stunning backdrop of the Ngorongoro Highlands and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Afterward, you'll set off for Africa Safari Lake Natron, embarking on a scenic road trip of about 140 kilometers through diverse landscapes. The journey will take you toward Ol Doinyo Lengai, the "Mountain of God."

As you travel along the rugged road, you’ll be captivated by the Maasai people in their brightly colored attire, adorned with intricate beadwork, all set against a backdrop of Aloe Vera and Candelabra trees. As the terrain shifts to dry grasslands dotted with whistling-thorn Acacias, you'll begin to see the distinctive silhouette of the volcano rising in the distance.

In the final stretch of the journey, the landscape transforms once again into a dramatic lava desert, with a highly alkaline lake nestled in the Rift Valley depression. This morning, lace up your walking shoes for an exciting excursion around the shores of Lake Natron, guided by a Maasai people. As you explore, keep an eye out for the lesser flamingos, as Lake Natron is one of East Africa’s most important breeding grounds for these stunning birds. During the breeding season, the lake can host up to 2.5 million flamingos, with the peak period for egg-laying and hatching occurring between October and early December.

While the lake is home to a few other bird species, its highly alkaline waters limit biodiversity. After your walk, you’ll have the rest of the day at your leisure—whether you choose to relax, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, or simply take in the breathtaking views of the still-active Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano.
