Day 1

Fly from Zanzibar - Arusha Airport to Serengeti National Park

Fly from Zanzibar - Arusha Airport to Serengeti National Park

Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Zanzibar Airport. Early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport. Pick up at Arusha airport and depart for Serengeti.

Your next destination is the Serengeti National Park, which you will reach after breakfast. You'll return to your camp for the evening fire, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Over 2 million migrating animals participate in this annual journey: 1.5 million wildebeest, 400,000 zebra, and 300,000 Gazelles accompanied by various goals: to find fresh, green grass. So the great migration takes place throughout the year. Prey and predators follow a relatively predictable but variable annual cycle dependent on rainfall and abundant green grass.

After an incredible day of exploring, you'll return to your accommodation at the amazing Melia Serengeti Lodge. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner. It's in the heart of the National Park, so you can explore more in the morning!

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive. The Lobo area and the Grumeti River offer year-round wildlife viewing. Non-migratory animals such as elephants, buffalos, gazelles, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are present throughout the year. Also, wildlife viewing is excellent, and you can watch for hours without seeing other vehicles — truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Above all, you will find magnificent riverine trees along the river lines and bird species such as kingfishers and fish eagles.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Airport

Your journey starts early in the morning. We can pick up breakfast from the lodge and start your new adventure to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This is a half-day safari. At 17:00 p.m., you will fly from Arusha to Zanzibar.

There will be cooled mineral water and a nice picnic lunch with us. So you are fully prepared to explore the Ngorongoro Crater.

The Ngorongoro crater is known as the eighth wonder of the world!

The Big Five animals —lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros, and African buffalo—are indeed enormous.

In Ngorongoro Crater, it’s possible to see all the Big Five.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), measuring 8,300 square kilometers, is the only place on earth where humankind and wild animals coexist harmoniously. Above all, the Ngorongoro crater sinks to a depth of 610 meters, with a base area covering 260 square kilometers. Thereby, the height of the original volcano must have ranged between 4,500 to 5,800 meters.
