Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you’ll meet your safari driver who will give you a short safari briefing. Then
it’s time to check out and head to Buffallo Springs National Reserve in Samburu. You’ll reach the reserve just in time
for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, you’ll go on an exciting game drive where you’ll see zebras, lions, cheetahs,
elephants, giraffes, blue-legged Somali ostriches, and more. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at your lodge before
spending the night there.

Buffalo Springs National Reserve

We spend this whole day exploring Buffalo Springs national reserve with early morning game drive where the light is perfect for a good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground, mid morning game drives and afternoon game drives where you will have the opportunity of spotting all the three cats including lions, leopards and cheatas. We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in the park. A wide variety of animals and birds life are seen at Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Several species are considered unique to the region, including its unique dry-country animal life: All three big cats including lion, cheetah and leopard can be found here as well as Samburu elephant and buffalo. Uaso Nyiro river contains large number of Nile crocodiles.

You have the option of swimming at the Buffalo springs natural pool which is quite safe.

Samburu national reserve - Nairobi

We embark on early morning game drive on sunrise when predators are active and later return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast depart Samburu National Reserve with the last picturesque of the reserve arriving Nairobi in the afternoon. You will be dropped at either your hotel or airport to connect your home bound flight depending on the arrangements where the safari ends.
