After breakfast in Arusha, we depart to Lake Manyara National Park, established in 1960, which is located in the valley of the Great East African Rift Valley. It is the only Rift Valley National Park in northern Tanzania. Upon entering the park, visitors will encounter a beautiful groundwater forest. This is famous for the lions that climb trees. The elephant population is large, but waterbuck, vervet monkey, and the black-armed diadem monkey can also be seen. The shallow soda lake is fed by streams that trickle down from the escarpment, creating a forest oasis with lush vegetation in the northern part of the park. The shores of Lake Manyara provide abundant seasonal food for flocks of shimmering pink flamingos. The tributaries of the lake are home to many other waterfowl. Hippos seek shelter from the scorching sun in the cool water. Later in the late afternoon, you will be taken to Manyara Camp for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we'll head to Tarangire National Park, where you may watch herds of up to 300 elephants looking for water in the parched riverbeds. You can also see migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland around the decreasing ponds. Keep a lookout for mongoose nests in abandoned termite mounds. While all of the primary predators are present, they are more difficult to observe than in other parks in northern Tanzania due to the dense forest. Then you will be dropped in Arusha.
