Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Program of the day: You will be picked up from your lodge by our skilled guide and embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park after a brief introduction. Tarangire, renowned for its vast elephant herds, offers an exceptional wildlife safari experience. The park is also famous for its iconic baobab trees, known as "trees of life," that enhance the beauty of the landscape. The Tarangire River, the park’s primary water source, draws hundreds of species, particularly during the Dry season.

Upon arrival, you'll set off on a game drive in search of wildlife such as lesser kudu, buffalo, eland, giraffe, and zebra. After a short game drive, enjoy lunch at one of the park’s picnic spots. Later, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive to explore more wildlife and the park’s features. Afterward, you’ll drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Program of the day: Today, you'll visit one of the world's natural wonders. After breakfast, you'll drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a self-sustaining ecosystem and one of the few places in Africa where you have the chance to see all five of the Big Five in a single day. Upon reaching the crater floor, you'll be immersed in some of the most breathtaking landscapes Mother Nature has to offer.

While spotting all the Big Five is a matter of chance, Ngorongoro Crater gives you the opportunity to witness African elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and lions, along with various bird species, all in one day. After a picnic lunch in the crater, you'll continue with an afternoon game drive to discover more wildlife and attractions. After a day filled with incredible experiences, you'll ascend the crater and drive back to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic tree-climbing lions and the lively baboons that will accompany you throughout the park. Once the safari comes to a close, we’ll return you to the lodge for some well-deserved relaxation, followed by a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay. Lake Manyara National Park is a true hidden gem, renowned for its stunning lake, where flamingos can be spotted in abundance. During your visit, you'll have the unique opportunity to engage with local communities and explore their cultures. Walk through vibrant rice and banana farms, witness the traditional process of brewing local beer, and even sample a taste of Tanzanian beer. You’ll also visit local homes to observe daily life and understand the customs of the people.

In the afternoon, enjoy a delicious lunch with the option to try authentic African dishes. After a truly immersive experience, you will travel to Arusha.
